This carefully-selected plot located in the Mayacamas hillside at just 400 feet above sea level celebrates the luscious power of Dry Creek Valley with dense, concentrated fruit and low yields from the mixed-volcanic and alluvial soils. It practically leap from the glass with toasty espresso, baked sugar plums, tart blueberries, wet loam, and the softest hint of crushed lavender. The plate is lush, yet bright, embracing the two years of 70% new French Oak with a chorus of malted chocolate, black licorice, crunchy blueberry and a tantalizing flourish of black cherry cola.
